I like you. I am in the minority by a long shot, but that is fine. I can fully see why so many are against you and it is not mob mentality. I like you so I am going to give you some advice....Stop the bickering and the finger pointing. You will not win. The only thing this will do is make this community look bad because you say one thing and ten other people respond with their own comments. Stop this silly crap or cowboy up and ride into the sunset.

Be adults. What is the point in responding to what is perceived as unfounded attacks? We have just come through a whole thread of "Unity in this community". If I was Joe Blow coming in off the streets to check out what seems like a cool group and see this, do you think I would want to be a part of it? I agree that the gensis of this should have been handled between Whut, Donkey and Erk but it was not. Let's get past this and move on.

Gnar's actions were questionable and I will review the logs to see what happened. Erk has a point. However, Erk is also now looking at everything under a microscope to find the smallest issue to feel vindicated after the last nightmare. The bottom line comes down to one thing. Gnar is an admin. Erk isn't. You don't have the same rights and privs. Sorry. Doesn't really matter though, I banned Erk today. He can still play in the servers, but I'm done with him starting shit here. The reason he stays here is because he wants his own gaming community. However, regardless of his technical infrastructure he lacks the skills or know-how to run one properly or get one off of the ground, so he's been trying to "suggest" how ours is run... or something to that effect. He says he used to run some community that would get tons of posts a day... I only ask what happened to that. But I've already spent too much time with this fuckwad. He's gone. I know I haven't been around as long or as often as many people here, but I think everyone here needs to calm down. You all seem like nice decent people here and I'd like to think I'm on good terms with everyone I know here, so how about we resolve this issue instead of hurl insults? I'm sure most of this bad blood came about because of some misunderstandings, and I bet this could all dealt with if both side cut each other a break. These servers are supposed to be about fun, so lets all just chillax and play! I'm shocked by watching one person stir up so much drama, and even more shocked by watching friends respond in kind. Honestly, you guys are scary when you shout.
This is just my personal opinion but I stay in the community for these reasons:
1) The people
2) Good times
3) Great servers
I think the reasons we bicker is because we feel a need to justify our positions, to protect our 'images'. But is that really what it's about? Why are we here anyway?
Good call on the ban man. I was hoping someone would do that and you delivered, Whut, as always.

We seem to get attracted to the rare asshat here and then, but seriously here. First we get Brad Burns.... hell Im not even touching that subject with a 100 foot pole. Then we get Erk, he's more of a "action now think later" kind of guy. It all starts with him becoming a recruit, he was ok of a guy for the first few days, On th exact day of his admittance poll he goes off in a bitchyness state where he complains about teams not being even and for 1 person joining "the stronger team" when he shoulda joined his. He got called out on it, and after that most of us were sure to vote no on his poll. Before the poll got off the ground he resigned his request for membership acting scared of being pushed away by the community before the cards were all delt. After that he still sticks around as if nothing bad had happend. Whut and myself gave the guy a break and decided to give him a 2nd shot to redeem himself by playing a friendly game of Sins of a Solar Empire in a 2v2. Now before this gets started we all get this mod for the game 7 Deadly Sins that adds alot of content to the game. Whut, the creator of the mod "Dan", Erk , and myself get a game rolling. Only half the way through he starts complaining "the games too hard with the mod". Starts making statements on how the mod makes the game worse. The chaos is back and on top of that he insults the mod while the mod creator is being present. Theres a diffrence between an opinion and an insult and Erk made his point clearly that he gets pissed/angry far too easily if things arn't going his way.  ahhhh_crap wrote:no, splinter has ethics and whut has emotions
