I've not played with these guys before, and for most of the afternoon they were ok.. then when most of the pDs folks dropped off, they started acting up.. grabbing the intel, taking it to base and not capping.. they did that for quite a while... Then one of them umm MushroomTop (I have his info at home) started building sg's in front of the enemy spawn, so no one could get out... he had a little base set up in the spiral entrance.. I asked him not to do that but he ignored me.  I help the other player on opposite team take the gun down a few times, but he kept on and on.. I went and got Leon, but that was about the time the update came out and no one could get in.. then the server rebooted.. problem solved :-)

Are these the old G-UNIT guys???  That clan was always causing trouble on most of the servers I used to play on., i.e. trying to crash the server, etc...they were banned from many..  maybe not the same guys.  Anyhow, since I'm new to this 'reporting' process, please tell me how I can do a better job...

While building a sentry to cover a spawn is frowned upon, it's not explicitly forbidden.  A decent team should just organize and uber charge it.  Then prevent him from doing it.  I wouldnt say it warrants a ban.  I would just do like you did and try and contact an admin, but only if it is negatively affecting the server morale.

You can record a demo to help prove malicious behavior.  This is what we usually use to determine legitamacy for kicks or bans.   Specific instructions on reporting can be found in this post

Thanks for the info about the demo.. as for yesterday.. there were only two people in the server the GUniX guy and another relatively new player.. so I helped the new guy.. he was getting very frustrated.  So building an sg in front of opposing spawn isn't considered 'spawn camping'?  And it's ok on Tempest servers?  I'm just trying to figure out some of the finer points of clanspersonship :-)

Oh I wasn't suggesting a ban.. maybe this wasn't the right place to put this post.. I was just asking for info on these guys and how to handle...
