I got called to Tempest #2 24/7 2Fort server. ΉΞλΤ" STEAM_0:0:4987570 was mic spamming some chipmunk music and asked repeatedly to stop. He was then told he would be banned, and laughed. Several admins were present as well as other {pDs}, however our admin rights were not working (Perfect time to not work lol) and we could not ban. He was told he would be IP banned, and laughed, saying he could change it at the press of a button. He would also switch teams and mic spam there too. This went on for at least an hour that I was present.
However, after he left, [AOD] Seth Steam_0:1:14843965 showed up and also mic spammed music. At least it was Eric Johnson's song Cliffs of Dover, so it wasn't as bad. Still, he was asked to stop, and laughed. When threatened with banning, he laughed again and asked if we knew there were over 1200 servers.
Both laughed and called people stupid, etc etc etc.
Several people complained, and some logged, stating they could not take it anymore. I apologized to them and explained sourcemod was down and they would be handled ASAP.

For next time just keep it simple. Name of person, their steamID, time it happend and on what server, and what they did. Don't need an entire novel on what happend   ahhhh_crap wrote:no, splinter has ethics and whut has emotions

cuz i have never been given admin, im not sure when admin functions are working but THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME! People will come in and pull some shit and everyone threatens to kick and ban and they get laughed at and the admins DO NOTHING!
If someone is being a cock smoker, FUCKING KICK HIM (after warning of course). Especially if they start the "i can go to any server" bullshit. THEY SURE CAN GO TO ANY OF THE 1200 SERVERS, just not ours. On the same logic, there are thousands of tf2 players, we don't need peices of shit like that fucking up our steez.
I just feel like people are being too nice to these people and nothing ever gets done cuz people are too concerned that theyre going to get railed on here for actually stepping up and taking out the trash. there is a special section of people to appeal their bans... LETS LET THEM USE THAT SECTION!
If we don't act like an authority on our servers, they're going to get abused. If you are an admin, (and its every pDs regular in there but me and a few non pDs'rs (???)), then Do your job and start kicking.
ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY MOCK YOU AS AN ADMIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!~

I've yet to have someone not stop being a dick when asked. Only kicks I've done have been AFKers when we are full. The one time I was actually going to kick someone for mic spamming they left before I could do anything. Razor wrote:Killing people is good therapy.
