You have to buy the game after you get a free download and trial account, you can't just pay for a month. Gay!

So your saying if you made a game, and let people try it out, you would just give it away for free? Formally known as MrT The film "Brokeback Mountain" was originally pitched as an off-beat romance starring MrT and WhutDuFuk. The sole reason the two legends declined the starring roles is because if MrT and WhutDuFuk were to kiss, there would be new meaning to the word homosexual...it would mean "obligation".

I'm sure they make a lot more money on subscriptions/merchandising than on selling retail copies.

They have 7.5 Million subscribers, whats the minimum cost 13$ when you pay for 6 months? They have almost 100 Million in revenue a month assuming everyone pays the MINIMUM. IMO at this point, with the expansion looming, they should offer the game free to download, much like Lineage 2. Everyone will buy the expansion if they have one level 60 character they actively play, there really is no point not to. On a related note, I may start playing again with the expansion, IDK, but I really want to kill Illidan (Even if he is my favorite character) AKA Shinobi Quote:Kick some giga-butt

I just remembered why I didnt give a shit about the monthly fees at all. When I played wow, all I played was WoW. Before that I would buy a new game about every month or two. So if I wasn't playing anything else, I could just use the money I would've spent on something else on WoW. I actually saved money that way. Then again I dont think you people starting now would play as much as I did. AKA Shinobi Quote:Kick some giga-butt

Are you telling me some people can actually get 6 months for 13 dollars? its 13 a month for when you buy the time in bulk (such as 6 months) And I agree with you guys, it should be free to download... if it was an okay game. But, IMO, being the best MMO I have ever played, I think its well worth the money. Besides, the more money they make, the better they do, the better they do, the more awesome games they make. And hopefully if they keep making tons on this, we might one day see Star craft 2 Formally known as MrT The film "Brokeback Mountain" was originally pitched as an off-beat romance starring MrT and WhutDuFuk. its pure economics boys. they are out to make profit and found that they can double charge people for playing basically because their product is demanded that much. Such is the capitalist way. yeah, i'm a cranky 'oul fucker. deal with it.

It was indeed worth my money. The only thing that really pissed me off was having to take the bus all the way to freaking northgate twice.
