Ok I was working on the beach map, went to compile and when I get to the start screen it says "extent of coordinates too large".

Is there a size limit?

i've never heard of this.  i have played some big maps (wtc) being one of them, but i'm sure your map isn't anywhere near that size.  maybe murdy might be able to give some insight.

its not realy a size limit more of a data limit. look at 2fort i think it at 30% and 2rock is at 99%. 2forl is just a bit smaller but not alot of detail but 2rock is full of it. if you need the size for the look try uesing the sky box came

Well I had a nice simple set up, a beach, hill, water that worked. Then I decided to change textures add tunnels, a lot of props and thats when it happened. So I deleted all the tunnels, changed some textures and even lowered the skybox, thinking it was too big, but no luck. I feel like starting over, its so frustrating.

I am going to double check for errors and then see what happens.

I've seen this before with one of my maps. Do you have any arcs or cylinders in the map? Sometimes complex brushes will extend way out of the map boundries and cause this error. Try looking at the map in wireframe view you may see it. If not email me the map and I'll try to fix it. It's pds_bitchmaker@yahoo.com

BTW love the avatar.

I'll try the wire frame and you can't go wrong with Betty.
