Well can't wait the extra day or two. lol
Here for your enjoyment is a theme based map for Halloween. It's smaller then egypt, but should still be a fun blast to play more so with the new Pumpkin Bomb. One note on the pumpkin bomb though, it's for GG shooting only, you can only grab and shoot the bomb so no running while you get it or while you have it or you'll take damage. Had to hack this to work since Valve didn't add the GG interaction for prop_data from HL2 to HL2DM. Oh well, it still works and add's a kick to the map. Once again, if you find any problems please let em know.
Also one hint for a secret, remember X marks the spot. ;)

This is good stuff guys.. we had a blast playing on it right after i installed it
.. we havent tried to pumpkin bombs yet though Once Known as Grumpy... Oh hell lets face it... I have and will always be Grumpy

you didn't tell me about the pumkin bombs grumps! and i couldn't find the secret place either... still cool though. i really like it. yeah, i'm a cranky 'oul fucker. deal with it.

heh...
The secret of the x is out but we are still not figuring out this pumpkin bomb thing. If you get a chance can you check in on the tomb and make sure everything is running right? Also.. it is raining on in both of the graveyards at the ends but not in the courtyard in the middle? I am not sure if this was on purpose or not...
and kiddies out there... What ever you do.. DO NOT jump over the graves during a running gun battle  Once Known as Grumpy... Oh hell lets face it... I have and will always be Grumpy

Hmm, maybe they (pumpkins) are not working on the server. Will have to jump on the server and check that. As for the rain, I had to remove it from the center for framerate reasons or it would of been there also. :(
Yes, run over a grave if it's me shooting you. lol

Any chance of getting some copies of these maps for hl2mp? We have a very popular tdm server as well and would love to run them there.  [13:58] TheSpaniard84: I have a kitty stuck to my rump [13:58] WhuTdufK: I suppose that's better than what's normally stuck to your rump.

Should be easy enough. Just replace the hl2ctf spawns with DM spawns and remove the flags, unless I'm missing something here?

Just wanted to make sure we had permission before we went and messed with your maps. Yeah, that's about what needs to be done. Replace the flags with the balls for the gravity guns. If we have permission I'm sure someone can manage to port these. Kusa has developed a new style DM flag that works just like the CTf mod flags. This being that you have to have your own flag in your base before you can score with the opponents flag. Also you can have a flag that can be returned back to your own base.
So i think he is asking if we are going to use the flags that we already use in dm or are we going to use one of these new designs by Kusa.
I think we should use the new designs to keep the maps as close to their designs as possible. Once Known as Grumpy... Oh hell lets face it... I have and will always be Grumpy

kusa did a good job making the return system for the flags. although its not perfect, i'm trying to work out the kinks for my next map. i am having a ghosting problem with one of the flags, but i have it just about fixed. this is the same problem we are having on the tomb right now with the flag not being where you see it. maybe this is just a problem i'm having and nobody else, but i'm working on getting it fixed before i finish up the lighting and release the map.

What about set the flag mass default? I think Charles pointed out to me in the mapping forum.

I am assumping you mean crypt? I have never heard of a flag ghosting problem in CTF on the Tomb? Once Known as Grumpy... Oh hell lets face it... I have and will always be Grumpy

Sure, if someone wants to decompile and change the ent's for DM then go for it. This is for any maps I release, but only you guys can do that so if someone not with WDFnews is reading this, then no you can't. 8P hehe
