That is great. Multiplayer would be sooo cool.

We need a world dedicated to this.

Looks pretty cool. I'll see if it's possible to include this in the server once Bukkit updates and it gets back online. I'm not sure it'll be possible, though. Bukkit is a mod already, and it sounds like this is another mod. I don't know what would have to be done to make them both work together, if it's even possible. Chances are, though, that this isn't something I'd be able to limit to a single world--it'd be all or nothing.

Then we'd have to see what's required from clients. Every would-be player might need the mod to even play on the server. That might require of players more than we want to ask, and none of the worlds would be vanilla, anymore. And they'd be increasingly susceptible to fly-by griefing.

Couldn't you try a test and see if its compatible with bukkit? I'm not sure how 2 mods would get in the way of each other. Ive tried running several mods before and had no problems.

I think this dog fight world should be open to all. just allow access to the choppa's only and have the entire world protected. This way the world can be transformed into a battlefield.

How do you use mods under normal circumstances? Doesn't the mod files need to be included in the minecraft.jar? Bukkit has its own .jar file. I assume a mod's files can be included in that, but I'm not sure.

The chopper would probably be buildable in any world the player can use a workbench (assuming that's how it's made). It's not a normal block and not a Bukkit block, so Bukkit wouldn't know how to block it. I don't think. Maybe it can. Just not sure.

Well hell... found its thread and it only seems to work for single player...

Which is odd because I was under the impression it was multiplayer, from the video. Doesn't look like they have any server-side code for it.

what if you added it to the multiplayer? I can't see this mod not going multiplayer, since it screams out PVP.

It'll depend on if ModLoader can be embedded into the Bukkit .jar file and not blow everything up. I'll play with that, once I figure out how; 7-Zip doesn't seem to allow the addition of files to .jar archives.

Not interested in signing up for Netflix, so I'll have to find a pirated copy in a bit.
