So, I have a friend, call him Chuck, who broke up several months ago with some chick he was dating.
Background: They were dating for over a year. Six months into it, he started to be a dick to her and she went banged one of her ex-boyfriends from a few years back while on a business trip. Call him Old Boyfriend 1. Chuck understands because he stopped talking to her, was a dick and wished she would go away.
Then when she told Chuck about what had happened during the time he stopped talking to her, he really started to care.
"It was meaningless," she said.
Old Boyfriend 1 lives about 500 miles away. He believed her, so, like an idiot, he kept dating her.
Fast forward to blissful existence for the rest of the year.
Then she goes on a business trip to, let's say, Canada. She stays three days for her conference in the hotel paid for by the company.
However, her plane didn't leave for another two days.
Enter her "mentioning" to my friend that she was going to visit with her ex, Old Boyfriend 2, whom she lived with for three years.
Chuck doesn't say anything, not wanting to be a jealous boyfriend. Then he reviews her itinerary and sees the 2-night gap in the hotel reservation and her plane departure date.
So, about 3 wks of not talking to her again, he asks if she saw Old Boyfriend 2. Yes.
He asks if she stayed with him. Yes.
He asks where she slept. She answers that she slept in the same bed with him. He lives in a studio and only has the one bed. So she slept in the same bed with him.
He asks if she fucked him. No, but they did make-out.
Okay, so the short version of the story is she didn't have any plans if the hotel didn't have anymore room after the conference. She met him with no plans, but had no reservations. Chuck thinks she planned on staying with him all along.
She only "made-out" with him and didn't have sex with him. Total make-out time was about an hour but nothing else happened. Remember, she only slept in the same bed with him for two nights.
So, he broke up with her several months ago and she still is trying to get back with Chuck. She is trying to explain it as it being a good-bye kiss, for an hour. Chuck, like an idiot, is not sure what to do.
My advice to him is to just walk away. She will keep doing it again.
She says she didn't fuck Old Boyfriend 2, but what the heck was she thinking that, while in a relationship with Chuck, that she could just go off and stay, in the same bed, with Old Boyfriend 2? She knows he only has the one bed to sleep in, and I keep telling him it wasn't even appropriate for her to be in the same house with the dude.
And as for "just making-out" for an hour? Seriously, like that makes it okay? Nobody travels to another country to visit with an ex, sleep in the same bed for two days and only "makes-out" for an hour.
She had to have fucked Old Boyfriend 2, but Chuck, like an idiot, has his doubts. He believes her. He is actually thinking of getting back together with her.
So, the poll question: she fucked Old Boyfriend 2, right?
And discuss.

Move on. In my mind it doesn't even matter if she fucked boyfriend #2. It doesn't matter if she made out with him for an hour. She crossed the line sleeping in the same bed with him. Even if that would have been innocent, no intelligent person should do that while in a relationship with someone else. Besides... bullshit on just making out. If you make out with someone for an hour and don't go past first base, something's wrong with you. P.S. Yeah, a well-meaning idiot whose heart is wanting one thing and brain is wanting another.

Well considering I'm a girl maybe I can help? Maybe she didn't sleep with him. But the fact that she slept IN THE SAME BED as him and MADE OUT WITH HIM for an hour is unacceptable. While you don't "belong" to the person you are in a relationship with, the fact that she slept with Old Boyfriend 1 and stayed with Old Boyfriend 2 proves that she doesn't take the relationship with Chuck seriously. If you feel the need to mess around with someone else while you're in a relationship, then you don't want to be with the person you're with. I have never cheated like her, but once you start making out with other people, it's time to move on from your current relationship because OBVIOUSLY something isn't working. As for whether she slept with him or not, does it really matter? Have any of you ever made out with someone for an hour and not gone farther? I know if I was making out with someone I wouldn't even need an hour to want to move on to phase two. Ask Chuck this simple question "Do you trust her?" There can NOT be a relationship if he doesn't. He had every right to question her. You just don't stay at an ex boyfriends house while you are in a relationship. She could have slept on the floor she didn't need to sleep in the bed with him. There is no excuse for what she did and he should move on. Tell him to block all contact with her. It will help him get over her faster. Trust me, that I know.
