Well, my GTX295 died, this is the 2nd card that has gone on me so far. The bad part is, I can't RMA it because BFG is going out of business. I am so pissed rite now. $700 down the drain.

Yikes, you actually paid $700 for a graphics card, yeesh, I'm still using the one built into my motherboard...although somebody here (I don't remember who) recommended the ATI Radeon HD 5770, which is reasonably priced...

This was the first week it came out. And no I didn't pay $700, I payed $700 for my 8800Ultra, that one exploded, got a 260, sold it, bought a 295 with the money I got from the 260 and $400 of my own. I have spent to much.

It may have been a driver problem that caused the card to go kaput. Recent drivers caused the fans to stop working and the card to overheat and blow up.

If this was the reason why your card blew up nvidia may be able to help you out. (Doubtful however)

And Super Penguin it was me who suggested the 5770 I think. 'Tis a great card that will play many games on max for under 200 bucks.

It's not surprising that BFG got out of the vid card business. Nvidia has been taking a beating this generation from ATI and BFG exclusively supported nvidia I believe. Combine that with the high failure rate of the Fermi architecture during production and BFG was left with a very limited supply of cards to sell. Constant shortages played a big part of this I believe.
I'm the leetest one here

Ouch. I haven't spent over $200 on a card since my All-in-Wonder years and years ago. Nowadays if I need more power I'll just SLI several sub-$200 cards.

It's not a driver problem, I always keep a sharp eye on my temps, I am 100% sure, as it will not POST. Beep code tells me that no VGA is not detected. I have tried the card in 2 different comps, same thing. It's the card.

Just go with an evga card. I have bought 3 of them and will buy a fourth card. As far as i can tell evga has taken over bfg spot and pushed them out of the spot light, well thats what it seams like to me. just d/l the evga program so you can turn the fan from i think default is 30% up to 85%-%100.
