What was the giant bubble i saw there? An interdictor field so ships couldn't warp away? Holy crap, that was sweet.

yeah the pvp side is amazing...too bad it only happens like once a month :P

running patrols nightly and seeing no action definitely took some fun out of the game for me >.<

See... I'd long for that. The extent of my PvP experience was being griefed by PvPers. My ship wasn't that great, I had no cargo. They killed me just for shits and giggles. At least with these huge battles, patrols, etc., there's a reason. But due to asshattery I didn't stay with the game long enough to find that.

I've been playing the fuck out of Caesar IV the past few days. Roman city-building games have never been that super awesome, but this one stands out. Far better than the Imperium one I liked for a while. Even after days of playing it and countless hours, I'm still discovering unique maps.

Rik - I've been playing Empire: Total War and loving it. Never played the empire games before, but I'm realizing now I was missing out.

Also, I'd LOVE to just go on patrols with clannies. I really want to play EVE but when I tried it...well...I was a bit overwhelmed and had no one to help meh. =(

If I find myself heading back to that game I'll let you know. Assuming I can get my account back I think I made it a decent ways in. I have a Battlecruiser at least, I think... fairly optimized. I always thought of that game akin to fishing... quiet, calming, then SHIT! ACTION!... then back to quiet, calming...
