Since the other thread has become bogged down by some dicussion of who is gonna help me get borderlands (now resolved, thanks triplebam!), let's plan out what kind of character we're going to try to use:

I think I'll make a Roland character (i.e. the soldier type who can drop an auto-turret)

I'm not sure how the co-op works, specifically if you can have more than one type of class in a game at once. It looks like you might be able to, but it wouldn't be as balanced as it could be.

So who calls dibs on what?

(btw, if you go to the borderlands official website, you can use an interactive skill tree to plan out what you might like to use)

And bendy.

I'm going to probably sniper/ninja lady. Co-op allows you do have any class you want, so we COULD go all Bricks and smash our way to victory. :D

That is one thing I am not looking forward to.

The alternative is a forced class. Fuck that.

I'm feeling either lilith or roland. probably lilith, actually. The phase walk sounds wicked. The other two look too specialized, but god knows I'm still going to try them all at some point.

defiance, try working out a deal with silverwasp, he was willing to work with me, but i had already come to an arrangement with triplebam.

And yes, trying out all the classes is definitely a must.

I was just talking to muff about this the other night, I plan on going solider and specing up healing all the way for team play

Formally known as MrT
The film "Brokeback Mountain" was originally pitched as an off-beat romance starring MrT and WhutDuFuk. The sole reason the two legends declined the starring roles is because if MrT and WhutDuFuk were to kiss, there would be new meaning to the word homosexual...it would mean "obligation".

if you're going healing, then i might have to buff up the turret and resupply trees... or maybe a jack of all trades thing, which is what i usually go for.

edit: Although, i'm becoming more and more tempted to go to the hunter and use pistols and the bird

As posted from the Borderlands thread.

Quote:
Synetick, Dragon, defiance, Ty, Tin, Talyn, Noobina, fogg, and darkscars. Those are the people that are getting it from CMS. If you are ever looking for a group I'd add those people. Maybe I'll get a steam group going for CMS and pDs people that have the game and want to go do co-op.

So 9 CMS, and I think there are still some people that are on the fence and might pick it up.

Alright, I got the group up, its for any1 involved in the two communities, just so we can have friendly people that won't jack our loot :P

http://steamcommunity.com/groups/CMSpDsBorderlands

I am not sure who is getting it, so go ahead and join and invite the people you know are getting it.
