I got monster lag in both tempest servers. They are in need of a restart big time. This happened around 1:30 or so and everyone started leaving because of connection problems, It never crashed but It would freeze for about 5 seconds and unfreeze for about half of a second, Please restart the servers, thanks.

Ditto. Just there and there was massive lag almost to the point of being unplayable.

Yeah, the box is completely overloaded with all sorts of shit. Since we had to pull the other two machines due to lack of financial support, we were forced to load up all of our projects onto one machine. Unfortunately it's taking it's toll on the game servers.

I am working with Sirus to come up with a solution to the issue. I'm sorry for the trouble.

Today was the first I noticed it. If Tempest 2 is part of the problem then I say get rid of it. More regulars play #1 than #2.

Tempest 2 is not part of the problem. Literally I was deleting old directories to make room for new maps and whatnot (box is that full) and the process of deleting old server directories used up what little ram the box had left.

And that's when you got lagged.

Sirus is already on a solution involving moving much of his stuff to a different location, thus freeing up substantial resources for us.
