[Rant] I'm tired of playing 2fort on Tempest #2. I know its popular with the point farmers, but I'd just like to play something else for once. Too bad no one ever is on #1 or #3. PLEASE! I want to play payload or even arena! Sure, I could go to another server but I'd really prefer to play with the people from pDs that I'm familiar with. Yeah, we have three different servers. I also hate 2fort. I try to keep 1 and 3 churning at some level. Tempest #1 - Official Maps 207.210.252.108:27016 Tempest #2 - 24/7 2Fort 207.210.252.102:27015 Tempest #3 - Custom/Official Maps 207.210.252.204:27015 Just slide them into your favorites and keep an eye on them. In terms of gaining HLStatsX points, any 24/7 server will be less effective than a rotation server, especially 2fort because it promotes turtling and there are relatively few common actions to gain points except killing people (1 point, mostly). Yesterday, I was making about 600 points/hour on Tempest 2 and 1400 points/hour on Tempest 1. What messes up the stats are people who get 500 kills on Tempest 2 and then move to other Tempest servers with only 3000 points and start killing people with 20000 points for 800 points per death.

Don't worry, Phoenix, I haven't forgotten about you. :D Like WDF said give it time for the new IP's to get in everyone's favs. Also you can start a pig pile, jump into temp #2, announce that you are trying to get temp 1 going, bring a few people over, then spam your friends list with invites to join, once you get 4-6 people on the server if will snowball with people from people finding it on the search and people with it on their favorites who are willing to join if there are people on it. Also people play on Temp 2 BECAUSE its 24/7 2fort, if it wasnt there probably would be very few people on it, and it would just be a clone of temp 1, and I doubt that WDF is going to get rid of our most successful server.

Yes, I know. I'm glad the #2 is up, no arguing over that. It gets people inside the pDs community and hopefully will attract them to the other servers. Points are a very limiting factor. Leave them behind and become a Run-In-And-Flame-Everything-In-Sight-Every-Single-Time-And-Have-All-Of-Your-Enemies-Die-And-Hate-You-PYRO! Points just prove how dedicated a gamer you are, aka how much of your freaking time you spend on the comp getting carpel tunnel syndrome. Rant over. But I still have more points than you :)
