I know we've had this problem for quite a while, but tonight and last night, by multiple different people, I was told that this is a somewhat unique problem to our servers? What do people know about this? I did a quick google search on the subject and it really didn't reveal anything.

Yeah, I played on the servers the past 2 days and was on both the good end and the bad end of the doors. I've been told several things about the glitch although I'm willing to bet the Tempest servers have something to do with it. A few people told me it was related to the engineers building their sentries, teleports, etc, too close to the doors. On the flip side though, there was one occasion where my teams doors just shut closed at the beginning of a round for no damn reason. Don't ask me how or why, I just know people were pissed and it was random. =P I don't really know the source of the issue, but these were my observations. I don't really know the source of the issue, but these were my observations. Actually, if the doors had been stuck for the previous round and you switched sides, your door would then be stuck, too. I don't play much outside the Tempest servers, but if it doesn't happen elsewhere, it might happen here because of the building on moving objects mod, maybe.

Good point on that plugin. I'll remove it and see if it fixed the issue. [13:58] TheSpaniard84: I have a kitty stuck to my rump [13:58] WhuTdufK: I suppose that's better than what's normally stuck to your rump.

If you did remove this mod, then that didnt fix the problem. The doors have gotten stuck a few times in the last few days. It only seems to be an issue on goldrush and dustbowl.

yea, I was playing around one day with mystique recently ( after this mod was removed theoretically) and we managed to break the doors on a few maps. So either this mod wasn't removed or wasn't the problem.
