As many of you know I am in the tempest servers at least once a day if not more. I have had more than a few occasions (usually late at night) when I cannot find an admin to get rid of hackers/spammers. I feel that by being an admin myseld I can help furter regulate our servers and ensure that we can all enjoy playing the tempest. I will do my absolute best to be fair. Please consider making me a tempest admin, I really enjoy our community and our servers and want to help keep it clean.

This would be nice. We seem to have had a bunch of dipwads lately. Mic spammers, racist comments, glitchers, you name it.
It makes me think that not everyone on the Internets is totally reasonable. Who knew?

I rarely find rampant racism or cheating on the tempests. The admin staff does a fairly good job keeping that stuff under wraps. Are there holes in coverage some nights at 3am on a wednesday. Sure. But I think its unfair to suggest that things are not adequately responded to during 85-90 percent of the trafficked hours. (We do truely apologise for missed opportunities or unavailability at times...we are human) Time spent in other servers will show how undercontrol teh tempest are most the time.
(this is not a vote up or down for rumour, just an observation on comments ppl always post about how incident this or that is ruining playtime)

I totally hear where you are comming from giller. I'm am not saying that the servers are terribly underpoliced. I don't want that to be the basis for which I am doing this. I figure the more the better for the few times that we can't get an admin. I just want to do my part.
The other night there was a hacker using speedhack and a crit hackn and we had no one to boot him. That got me thinking about being one more person that could destroy that fuckwad so we could go on with our game.

So, I never heard back about this but I'm going to go ahead and assume it was a no. I havent been in pDs all that long so I can understand why. Anyway, thanx for the consideration and thanx to buz for backing me.

Rumour, your vote was not a 'no'... there was never a Poll posted for voting. A current admin must recommend you (which it looks like K-Buz did) but he did not post a poll for the vote. You may want to PM him and ask him if he intends to do that for you. Hang in there.
