Got banned tonight (Nov 2nd @1930PST approx.) - no idea why.

Only message was titled "Banned" with text "wallhack". Saw no discussion in chat at all.

Have no idea which admin did it or why they through I was was wallhacking (which I wasn't). Do know that fast pings kickbutt in TF2 sniping, as I've been pwnd many time by pDs-Christina often because of it.

Spent a lot of time trying to work my way up the rankings, so I hope you find out what went on and why.

I know I don't have any real weight but I just thought I'd throw out my $.02. I've played with him many times and never had any troubles or at all suspected anything out of the ordinary. Hope this gets resolved quickly

I have viewed the demo multiple times, and concluded there is insufficient evidence to warrant a permanent ban.  [CSM] Mo's ban has been lifted.

K_Buz saw some actions he thought were very suspicious, but looking at the demo under scrutiny indicates there wasn't anything untoward going on.  He was definitely acting in good faith, and our admins do their best and when they suspect there is cheating a judgment call has to be made.

Mo, thank you for bringing your dispute to this forum, and please don't feel that anyone will be scrutinizing you unduly in the future.  That said, if by a stroke of luck you were cheating and just lucky enough not to have the demo show it conclusively enough, rest assured this scenario may play out again and we're generally less tolerant of second, third, and fourth appeals.

It's not a witch hunt against snipers, I guarantee.  But when people use aimbots or wallhacks, sniper is the most obvious class for it because the shots hit instantly and do so much damage.
