Well, as much as I hate to admit it, I've fallen way behind the times. I used to be the nerdy asshole that kids would consult on computer builds, and truth be told, I don't know shit about recent hardware. The last computer I bought was for $300 secondhand in high school.
I'm hauling my big ass all the way up to Seattle, so I figure I'd better make it worth it. I'm looking to spend about $1,000 on a Motherboard, CPU, Memory, and Graphics card.
Here's what I was thinking:
Memory - G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
Video - MSI NX8800GTS
Motherboard - ASUS P5N32-E SLI Plus LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i
CPU - Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4GHz
I feel like an asshole for asking. Gah, whatever. Thoughts? Comments? Concerns?
