since the new trailer for ut3 (yes, thats what it is called now), it reminded me of how much they f$#%ed up the last 2 games. so I was wondering what you guys thought about it. In my personal opinion, the original had a dark undertone to it, really slick weapons, and great maps. then ut 2003 came out and messed it all up and turned it into a summer action movie which it wasn't. ut 2004 came out and all its gameplay was based on vehicle combat. also in every ut game except ut 1 the completely destroyed how the weapons looked and acted. whats your guys thoughts?  "....you know what would look nice for your nose piercing? what? the bar!" "....with 4 million men using it, Enzite is fermly the number one mail enhancement drug."

Ut always seemed basic to me. Like an arcade game. The weapons did look cool but they had always had thier flaws.

Well they made all the weapons look really crazy and absurd. Although cliffy b said his idle is the creator of mario, so maybe he is trying to be as original as him by making really crazy and far out weapon designs. btw did anyone notice the really weird lighting were everything is being reflected of the players? The weapons did have there flaws, but you have to admit in the original ut they were pretty damn close to perfect. then they messed it up. original UT was awesome, I expected to love q3 and hate UT, it turned out that UT won me over and became the game I played. Future versions didn't impress me, I never did more than play the demos. UT3 may be good, may be more of the same tho. It's got stiff competition from FF2 and ET:QW in my book. Razor wrote:Killing people is good therapy.
