He was in my server this morning playing under the [aKa] tag. I guess he had been in both pDs (for DM) and [aKa] (for CTF). I guess when we made the switch to ctf, he decided to go full time aka. How nice of him to tell us, eh?

That sucks too, because, he was actually a pretty good player. He was never really involved, even from the start too I guess.

Dual clanning has never been drama in the past and never will be. If you notice this has probably been the only time in your young PDS life that you have seen one of these things not even go to poll.
My only thoughts about our recent drama episodes is that all the rules should be as crystal clear as this one (about dual clanning) is and then we will never have drama about anything. Once Known as Grumpy... Oh hell lets face it... I have and will always be Grumpy

i don't understand why people would have a different clan for HL2DM and HL2CTF. they are the same game, just a different version of it.

One clan may have active scrimmages on that games modification.
Also, yes, it is a different version of the game. Just the same as DoD:S, CS:S and HL2DM are all the same root game, but made use of differently. Just the same as HL2CTF.
Do we, as a clan, take part in scrimmages on the CS:S part of the game? No, many members don't like that style of game play. Once again, it is the same game as the one this clan plays on.
Does that help explain why one may desire separate clans for different modifications of HL2?

He was actually in aka before he came to pds.. he said he had grown unhappy with Ctf at the time and was exploring the world of dm (which aka does not play) when he came to us. He never imagined that we would shift to the game he had come from and we when did.. he decided o be with them full time instead of double clanning with us. That is why he went back to wearing the aka tag full time. He really meant nothing by it but as you know it doesnt work around here.. Once Known as Grumpy... Oh hell lets face it...
