{pDs} Members Code of Conduct

The Clan reputation: It is each members responsibility to see the good name of the clan is maintained at all times by adhering to this code of conduct and regardless of whether playing on a server of WhutDuFuk’s or elsewhere. Any actions by members that may result in the tarnishing of the clan reputation must be reported as a result.

NO CHEATING! It is expected that pDs members do not resort to cheating (i.e. hacking, using exploits, glitching, spawn camping or any other measure that gives the user an unfair advantage). {pDs} members must always play honourably. A member who is found cheating will be asked to leave the clan.  Excuses will not be tolerated. You are responsible for your account. It doesn't matter if your friend was cheating on your account, or your brother installed it on your computer. You are fully responsible. All members found cheating or VAC banned will be immidiatly removed from the clan and no longer allowed to play on the servers.
(remember, the admins are separate to the clan and will not give {pDs} members preferential treatment)

NO HARASSMENT!
Verbal bullying, sexual harassment, racism, and homophobia are not tolerated. No excuse will be accepted.
Failure to adhere to this will not only result in expulsion and banning from the community but may also result in legal action on the part of WhutDuFukhonorably.coimmediatelym.

Fun loving: We are here to have fun, and in-game performance always comes second to this. As such, no member should ever come under fire for under performing. Members are expected to be helpful and friendly to those in need.

PLAY FOR THE TEAM!
Stat whoring, camping and TKing are frowned upon. A member who consistently plays in such a selfish manner may be asked to leave the clan.

Scrimming: If you sign up for a scrim you must give at least 24hrs notice if you are unable to make it. Don’t sign up if you aren’t 100% sure you can make the scrim.

Name and tag use:
Members must use the name that they initially joined the clan under. If members still feel the need to use a name that has not been officially sanctioned by the seniority of the clan (those who have high level admin status), then they must drop the tag.

Dual Clanning: Members are {pDs} members exclusively. This means members are not allowed to hold a position in another clan regardless of whether its for a different game or not. If a member is found to be dual clanning they will be booted from the clan. (If a member wishes to join another clan, they must resign from {pDs} and give official notice, see Leave of Absence below)

Inter-clan disputes:
If a dispute arises between two members they are asked to resolve it outside public domain (I.e. using Xfire, mIRC ot the private forums). However, it is asked that they do not involve other members without having attempted to resolve it one to one in an amicable and non-confrontational manner.

Act with Maturity: members are expected to conduct themselves with a certain amount of maturity. We all like to joke around but certain things like abbreviated typing, spamming in game and on forum, and just generally being excessively immature is deemed unacceptable from members.

The Mandatory Requirements of Members:
ALL MEMBERS MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

The Games: These are Half Life 2, Half Life 2: Deathmatch, Counter Strike: Source and Day of Defeat: Source. (This list may grow or diminish depending on what’s popular at the time. Please also refer to the the joining rules thread for a more accurate representation of what we expect you to have.)

Xfire: This program provides an IM and VoIP service designed for use in-game, enabling us to contact each other quick and easily. It can be downloaded here.

mIRC: An internet chat relay service. It is used by the clan to meet and to finalise tactics prior to a scrim. Here is a tutorial on setting up mIRC.

(Members are required to be both logged into Xfire and idle the #WDFNews IRC channel at all times when online.)

Additional requests of members conduct:

Leave of Absence: Show a bit of consideration. Please post if severing ties with clan permanently or if leaving for longer than a week.

Respect for the Opposition: Treat all other clans with respect. Even if they are confrontational there is no need to stoop to their level.

The WhutDuFuk Servers: When on the servers, it is important that members of {pDs} make non-members feel welcome and ensure that the non-members have fun too. We aim to make WhutDufuk servers fun for all and as popular as possible. Therefore those who frequent the servers should always be treated well by {pDs} members. At no time should members become abusive to non-members on the servers! Even if those guests are not playing in the most desireable manner.

Keep the Teams Even: When on the servers, {pDs} members are expected to keep an eye on the teams at all times to ensure the game remains even, switching sides if necessary. {pDs} members are required to divide themselves up between both teams to ensure a fair game.

Recruiting Policy:

Anybody who meets the requirements may apply for membership. However full members are encouraged to take an active role in the recruitment of new members that they feel would make a good addition to the clan.

Full members are then responsible for mentoring the new recruits, ensuring the recruits are familiar with our rules and practices and that they have Xfire, mIRC etc.

It is the responsibility of the full members to initiate a clan vote on whether that recruit gets full status. This may happen no sooner or later than one month after that person has been given recruit status.

anyway... long story short... Show a bit of <3 and…
DON'T BE A DICK!!!
