So, yeah. We have revived the project and this time it's final so we're throwing it all in and letting all of the clans know who had played before. I could not find anything recent on the forums so hopefully this is welcomed. If {pDs} would be interested, we are just about to release the final play test version before we add all of the final bells and whistles for the release candidate. We can provide you with a link to grab the final play test version and try it out on our play test server if any of you guys would like to try it out. The current official release of HL2CTF 2.0 final is June 24th, 2011 and, as always, we will give {pDs} first crack at the final release if you guys like where we're headed after giving it a run through. And on a final note, as described in the video, the final runs on the Source SDK Base so all you need is any single Valve game to run the mod now. That includes HL2DM but now you are NOT required to have HL2DM to run the mod!

Maybe something to replace the Tempest with? I'd offer my server but it wouldn't support many players, and I'd have to take down some of what it's hosting already.

Cool, if you wanna get ahead of the curve, our last play test release is PT2F which is fine and will give you the bulk of the assets before we release the PT2G patch which I can tell you has some major goodies in it! :) Download HL2CTF 2.0 Playtest PT2fWe plan on building PT2G (full and rollup patch) later today, so I'll drop by again and post the link to it when it's ready. *Remember, it's the SDK Base so with the hldsupdatetool you update using -game episode 1HL2CTF Windows and Linux Server Setup Guide PDF

Thanks for the install info. It'll be up to bragr (if he sees this) whether we adopt this or not. He's the only person with the hardware resources for it.

Cool, in the meantime we'll have 3 or 4 US-based play test servers running. We've tested PT2g and it's good to go, so we'll be posting it soon. Lots of updates from PT2f that are more focused toward visual stuff. All of our play test servers will be up and running on PT2g later this evening. Haven't posted in a while as we had some serious problems with multi-flag code. That has finally "washed out" of the mod and the code is stable. Here is the full link to HL2:CTF PT2k which we'll be playtesting over the weekend.As always, appreciate the support of {pDs} and we have 14 servers up now with a couple of those in Tacoma, so hopefully we see you guys if you have time over the weekend.
