All I'll say is.. for long term.. consider getting a NAS. It's very nice to have stand-alone media storage, especially if you set up a RAID for redundancy and super-especially if you have multiple systems that can make use of it; PCs, laptops, XBox, PS3.. even some smartphones. Plus then if your computer explodes, your media and other important files remain nice and safe.
