...read all of your pm's now that I have access to the database. Some of you people talk about weird shit behind closed doors. Also some of the pictures that some of our female members have exchanged with other people are particularly choice. Also the pictures cantrip sends are pretty good too ( call me ).

Also merry christmas and crap.

After running and/or having full access to such databases for years... I can safely say I never looked at any member's private messages. Even amidst drama where they would have helped me moderate things. Tempting, but never did it.

I wasn't really going throw the messages (except for cantrips), they just happened to be scrolling across the screen, as I debugged. I actually don't know who they belonged to, I guess I could cross reference account ID's with names if I really wanted to know.

Anyways, I couldn't help but read some of the first sentences on some and the full text on others to make sure they weren't being mangled. You people talk about the weirdest things.

On related note, I really, really love sql commands. I also really, really hate them.

They only get interesting when you're dealing with non-autocommitted, bulk queries with sub-selects on InnoDB tables that have foreign constraints.

It's a bit annoying to have to wipe everything out of a child table to repopulate a parent, but... it's for the good of data integrity. Something most CMS packages don't think much about.
