Steam client update released Client Update - Valve 10:42A Steam client update is now available. To apply the update, click the File menu inside of Steam and then select "Check for Steam Client Updates...". The specific changes include: Steam Added support to update AMD/ATI video drivers!!!! Plus alot of other crap nobody cares about. Quote:

O_o I've used AMD exclusively for my desktops since the K6-2, and it's market share and reputation as an Intel alternative has only grown since then. Personally I think AMD is a bigger competitor for Intel than ATI is to nVidia.

+1 I think that while AMD may be slightly behind in architecture, they aren't that far behind, and the $ per clock is a lot lower than Intel, and their latest redesigned architecture thats coming out soon will do a lot to even the playing field. ATI sucks though.
