The same is true for Z.O.E.3. =P I had all the MvC games, outside of the original X-men fighting game (that was arcade only, I believe) and X-men vs. Street Fighter. Marvel vs. Street Fighter was the one I spent the most time with simply because it felt right...at times (Cyber Gouki = Fail). MvC 1 was awesome and MvC 2, balance issues aside, was awesome. I never touched Cable or Magneto, or a lot of the OP characters simply because of how effective their move sets were, and also because they don't fit my style of play.
