So I'm back home for the summer and we only get shitty verizon service where I live. Anyways I only have modem, it's westell brand which is what verizon uses but it's got an AT&T stamp on it (used att service when working in the power plant during the fall). My question is, is that modem still usable with verizon dsl? does AT&T configure their modems differently somehow? In an hour of Darkness a blind man is the best guide. I'd like to say it'd probably work and that the extent of AT&T's interference is their little tag, but if the cellphone industry is any indication they might well hack those things up to be only usable with their service. I've only ever used my my own store-bought modems so... can't say for sure. =/
