I'm not really in a mood for ranting like I normally do, so I'll cut to the chase: My grandfather had a heart-attack. He had it when he was working out on a treadmill. He's in the hospital now getting heart surgery. I'm not for sure what kind of condition he's in, which is a bit scary because I was really close to my grandfather. Back when I was in high school, I used to live with him to go to the magnet school across the way from his place. He would always take me out to these really nice places and tell me all these neat stories. I learned a lot from being around him, and without him, I don't think I would have become a jazz musician (in school). He always seemed to favor my company, especially since we had similar interest, but I guess that's because his own sons were just too messed up in the head to get their act straight (drug abuse). ... Right. Continue on with your day. =P DredNaught wrote:In regard to the ladies... or lack thereof: Just remember that it's about quality, not quantity. When my mom a heart attack it took the wind outa me for a sec. When I got to the hospital they had already put in a stint and she was medicated quite a bit. She kept going on about how proud she was of me to the nursing staff. I had no problem crying right on the spot. Its amazing how much a tramatic situation sends alot of people into mental reflective mode. Makes you realize who and what is important to you. Looks like your Gramps has played a vital role in your positive development. I wish him and you well. You should let him know his influence if he dosent already and tell him there is still more developing to do. Dave
