That's where I've been for the past few days (with some L4D2 sprinkled in there now and then). I'm loving it. It has all of the fun goofing off that the first one had (I'm a history nerd, so faffing about on the roof tops of ancient cities is ridiculously fun to me) and it also has, to me, elements similar to the GTA series (with many missions and a fantastic storyline). So far it's shaping up to be a great game that will get a couple of play throughs from me. So...Who has it? Who's playing it? Who loves it and who hates it? Lets hear it! :D wrote:{pDs} TitaniumPhoenix: We're Mexican. I say we pull a razor outta our titties and cut them! I was thinking about renting it because I saw you on it when ever I was playing MW2. Does this game have a replay value or is it just a renter?

I'm tempted to get it, but I may have to hold out on it until next year (too many games are out right now). The first Assassin's Creed was so badly designed on just the basic fronts that it messed up it's entire experience. It felt like Ubisoft Montreal didn't know what made their game fun. I had to bare through the crap just to FINALLY get some fun out of it. Considering Assassin's Creed 2 is WAAAAY better than the former, and since I'm a junkie for stealth games where I can hire whores to distract guards, I will indefinitely play it.........but even then, I will still hate the sci-fi tie in -- schizophrenic story is schizophrenic. I'm a sucker for buying my games, though if you're not 100% sure you'll like it your safer bet is to rent it. Gamefly.com ftw? You can play it all you want for the monthly charge and no late fees. Though I'd recommend this one as a purchase for your gaming library. :D The sci-fi element kind of disappointed me too. I was hoping for an ancient storyline in the first game and there wasn't much of one. However, AC2 has that epic storyline...but the sci-fi element is back and bigger than before. May want to play with a grain of salt, lol. wrote:{pDs} TitaniumPhoenix: We're Mexican. I say we pull a razor outta our titties and cut them! So I beat this a couple of weeks ago and forgot to post here. For those that have beaten the game...did you guys find yourself staring blankly at your TV for a few moments before saying "What the FUCK?" Because I did. ...Still a fun game though! :D wrote:{pDs} TitaniumPhoenix: We're Mexican. I say we pull a razor outta our titties and cut them! If yes, keep playing. If no...oh, hell, go ahead and keep playing! wrote:{pDs} TitaniumPhoenix: We're Mexican. I say we pull a razor outta our titties and cut them! Notice to all players of Assassins creed.... This is a TRILOGY!! If you are like OMGWTFROFLCOPPTERBBQ at the end remember... To Be Continued... It is a bit like Robert Jordans books when you are like 10,000 pages in and still like WTF is going on here? EXPLAIN P.S. Still over 100,000 words till the end of the series, I am so going to die. And love doing it.

I'm fully aware that it's a trilogy, Silver, it was just the level of WEIRD that made me go WTF? I know and can accept there's more to the story...it's just a REALLY weird story!! wrote:{pDs} TitaniumPhoenix: We're Mexican. I say we pull a razor outta our titties and cut them! I have not even beaten it becuase I do not even own it..... I want to but my immense lack of funds is something that continues to trouble me. If for some reason I manage to aquire a stockpile of cash i will buy it. Mass Effect 2 first however.
