Global Agenda

That link has the pricing and a quick overview of the game.

If I had to sum up the game in one sentence, it would be "Global Agenda is 40% World of Warcraft, 40% Team Fortress 2, and 10% Guild Wars: Factions."

I prefer FPS fighting over RPG fighting. I also like persistent and meaningful results from the success or failure of a team. I think this could be a really cool thing.

The nice thing is that you can opt out of the pay-to-play sections of the game and you still get some online stuff for free (although you still need to buy the game). Also, pre-ordering gives you access to a last beta test in January, so when the game really starts up you know how to play.

I could afford $10/mo to play this game. When you buy the game, you get a 30-day trial of Conquest (see link). I'd hope that that is enough time to determine the worth of this game. It remains to be seen if I'd actually pay the $10/mo to play.

This could be a major area for the clan to expand in. Agencies (Clans) are everything in this game, and we have the framework and community to support one. 60 person raids would be freaking awesome, imo.

I know we just started renting a new server, and I know Whut just started up 2 more servers too (even if they're currently not working), but this would be something really really cool for us to be a part of from the beginning.

Thats all. I know that not everyone will play this game, but it would still be really cool if a few of us could be emissaries wearing the {pDs} tag.

I absolutely hate pay-per-month plans. Especially for video games. It forces you to squeeze as much time into the game as you can before your 30 days expire, then you can take a break before grabbing another pre-paid card from the store or whatever. My credit card's been screwed over by automatic pay-per-month plans twice, and I really don't want to go through the hassle of all that again.

this will prolly work pretty well for some of us muff, but not all of us. Like Cail said, some people are just totally against PayPerMonth games. =/

Formally known as MrT
The film "Brokeback Mountain" was originally pitched as an off-beat romance starring MrT and WhutDuFuk. The sole reason the two legends declined the starring roles is because if MrT and WhutDuFuk were to kiss, there would be new meaning to the word homosexual...it would mean "obligation".
