On top of being every nerdgasm ever, Avatar is a highly complex and masterfully executed concept film by the returning James Cameron. If you look underneath it's surface (which looks perfect, by the way), this film is a thorough and invigorating look into the heart of deviant ideology.

We call ourselves many things, use many names, but there is a persona we nonetheless project into this intangible cyberspace. Our manner of speech, the way that we "carry" ourselves--it's all a projection of our innermost personae. This is us being ourselves. Sometimes we're confused, sometimes we're excited, these are all things we reveal when we communicate online. Our thoughts and ideas are sent like the small packets they are contained in.

All this is a benefit of anonymity. The internet is almost a personal log that others respond to, with you responding in turn.

Time for spoilers. You must read them to get the point of this whole article. Don't look if you don't want the meat of the movie to be ruined. The rest of this article is worthless to you. Ctrl+W.

Actually, I'm tired. I'll write this in the morning.
