I recently dug out all my old classic Nintendo games and found to my pleasant surprise the old system still works like new! Anyone here have any fav games for that system? I personally loved the Dragon Warrior/Quest series along with Kirby, any of the Ninja Turtles games, Mega Man games and yes, Darkwing Duck and DUCK TALES!!! xP

Duck Tales was the first game I ever received a 100% completion. I actually still have all my old NES cartridges on my shelf, though my NES has long since died. =P

Never had the pleasure to own a SNES. My favorite game to play at my friends house was Super Metroid. For a 10 year old, playing that game when its pitch dark out was freaking scary...and awesome.

Alright, who's going to mod it into "Ducktor Hunt"?

I really liked Kirby's adventure. Also, Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is truly epic. Even though that was SNES. I also downloaded NES Donkey Kong for my Wii, since it is an easy game to dominate my friends at.

Ive always loved the old Zelda game on the SNES. I never really had a chance to play the SNES much since I was all about the Sega back then...oh the joys of Sonic and Gameground...

O the magical things called ROMs and Emulators.... Only problem, they are illegal. O well, screw copyright laws.

Only to an extend, if your smart enough to find the loop holes. ROM's and Emulators arn't illegal IF you do have a legit copy of a system /game. You are technically allowed to have a limit of 1 copy per game. Hence "backup" incase the original breaks.

As for me, always loved the Turtles games. You can't also not say NES without mentioning at least 1 Mario game, so Super Mario Bros., SMB 3, and Batman were the bigger ones for me.

genghis Khan.

Oh and the first ninja turtles game was fucking hard as hell. If anybody has beaten that game legitimately, my hat's off to ya.

I liked "Bandit Kings of Ancient China"

An odd game not too popular and hard to understand at first.

Emulators are free software (99% of the time), and are perfectly legal. The other half of this is that it's virtually impossible for your ISP to accuse you of not having legitimate copies of your ROMs in real life. The only exceptions to the loophole are copyrighted software: certain stuff like Mortal Kombat and Metroid are a no-go if you're planning to use an emulator (but it's rare).

Also, I was a Sega guy in the early '90s.
