I'm not sure exactly how long it's been.. if HL2 came out in Nov. 2004 and I got it when it came out, and almost immediately started playing HL2:DM on the tomb, then approximately 5 years? That's obviously not only a testament to the skill of Valve's dev teams, but also to the greatness of Whut and this community. Even after all of the flaming (fuck the word trolling. I remember when troll used to just mean someone who visits a forum often) there was always something that kept me here. I was not very well-liked during most of my tenure here, and yet I was still invited to Whut's home. This has been a long time coming. My increasing involvement in video games coincides directly with my abandonment of soccer and almost every other form of physical activity. I decided to take the path of least resistance and entertain myself with glowing rectangles and red pixels and as a result, my health has deteriorated and my homework has been shitty. Each day I am reminded more and more of what a failure I've become and I need to change. I want to dedicate more time to running or bicycling, schoolwork, and music production. The first step is quitting games. I know I have to force myself to do this because my willpower has also gone to shit. I am erasing all video games from my HDD right now. I need to stop the foruming as well. I feel like if I keep coming here I'm just going to fold and reinstall my games and frag away. I'll still drop in from time to time, usually during my in-between classes period and to eradicate any Canabalt challengers. I'll leave steam on for chatting but don't send me any invites. Thanks everyone for being.. but big thanks especially to: Whut - A king among peasants. Everyone here owes him tribute. He has entertained us for days (drakhen for at least 25 days if you look at HLstats) and even hooked up two people several states apart. It's a little more than coincidence that we decided to quit on the same day. I've been thinking about it for a while and he really just confirmed what I already subconsciously thought about myself. Sirus - The invisible hand behind this operation. Shrouded in enigma, he keeps everything technical afloat. I have only heard of his exploits and hacker prowess, which is funny because it makes him to me seem like the laughing man or neo or some shit. Sunfox - I dont really know this guy but he's important. Keeps the servers alive. Endyss - Smart, funny, kind, awesome. This guy is a homie. Triplebam - Same as above Dreadnaught - We only met for a day but he's very cool. Gave me a ride. The crawdads, razor, drakhen, titpheonix, muffa, kelsey - server homies. Great people. P.S. There's no way in hell I'm not getting Starcraft 2. I will be playing that shit nonstop when it comes out. Hit me up when it does.

Well don't you just suck. Don't make me drive to your house, reinstall your games and make you play it. Enjoy your break and come back soon.

Well, we let you back into the clan for what, the third or fourth time, and you quit on us, again. LOL. Yeah, scratch masturbating off your list too and you will save a TON of time... Good luck. A healthy body usually leads to a healthy mind, and less hairy palms. You should be more like Cantrip. Twitchy: "I pulled a Cantrip . . ." GivePeaceAChance: "If the Tempest had nipples, I'd pinch that shit." Xylicon: "I'm about to deliver my [Richard] in your face for posting that stupid shit. " WDF?: "He keeps reaming me... night after night... I'm rather sore." GivePeaceAChance: "OMG MY NIPS ARE HARD" llenta: "cantrip, you fail!!!" Filliam H. Muffman: "i'm on top of dick"

tpractice wrote:Yeah, for years I had a favorite quote. "Anyone who rides a moped on the street, failed physics." thats pretty funny since I'm a physics major. Yeah this plan kinda backfired on me because my good friend of 14 years just got TF2 for the PC. So... yeah.... I have to play with him because I was trying to get him to buy it for months.

Wow... Nice total fail there, James 2. I will return for Starcraft 2 (making my semi-final forum rounds...) [13:58] TheSpaniard84: I have a kitty stuck to my rump [13:58] WhuTdufK: I suppose that's better than what's normally stuck to your rump.

Just saying that we'll be around. I hear you though. I hardly have time to play a lot of games as of late myself. Work has been kicking my ass (wouldn't hurt finding a better job). Regardless, getting your shit in order is a noble thing and when you have time again, we (as in I) will be ready to play. In addition, call me up and lets get shitfaced sometime. Let me know, and I'll PM you my cell #.
