I know its a new map so everyone likes playing it, but would you guys like to see (if possible) a 24/7 Egypt server?

Right now it fills the server immediately and is a really fun map to play.

IF we did put this into our server list, I would ask to impose an engi limit on the server to 3 or 4 (which could be debated).

I was gonna suggest 2 engie limit.  3 at most.  4 is just too much...way too much.  I shudder at 4 engies defending the first point on the 3rd level of egypt.  its crazy difficutl for blue team to ascend that tower if red has alot of prepared engineers.

I haven't played the new map yet, but I'll volunteer to be the only engie for whichever side I'm on!

Lets put that to the test!    You are good doc, but you don't have time enough on 1 uber to cover 4 sentry's that are separated by 40 meters of distance....while fighting uphill.  You may have not encountered it as bad as it can get yet....on that 3rd level of egypt...right out of the blue spawn.  If the red team goes hardcore engineer/demo....it's near impossible on a full server to break unless you can really organize your whole team and get some 3-4 ubers teams to take it all down.

The fault is in the 32-man server being unsuitable for any of the stock maps or the community maps Valve picked, not the map itself. The map is just plain bad and makes no sense in the TF2 paradigm. Oh yeah, the map sucks, too.

For the good of the servers, though, replacing the Zombie server with a 24/7 Egypt server would be a logical idea since the Zombie server is either completely full or empty with few moments between the two extremes.

I don't agree with class limitations, though. Limit the team to 2 engineers and the 8 demomen on the attacking team will make their two meager sentries useless. I don't know how bad it is to attack the third stage against many engineers (how often does it reach the third stage, anyway?), but RED should be allowed to make good use of the awful map design to its fullest. 5 engineers should be an absolute minimum for class limits, because that's still less than 1/3 of a full team.

Any solid coordination can take out an engy block.

Egypt doesn't suck that much. It fills our server. Go hate something else.

Though I agree with the idea of kicking the zombiemod server.
