I was unable to record a demo (user dumbness) so I only gave a 1 week ban to:

STEAM_0:1:21923766 Lil_AAA

He was a spy and never ran out of invisibility cloak.  Only became visible when sapping or backstabbing.  I specced him for about 10 minutes (some of which I spent trying to launch a damn demo)

Mystique,

Are you 100% positive on this? When spec'd, the Spy's count-down watch doesn't show the actual countdown. Was he cloaked for more than 10 seconds at any one time?

I had this same issue with someone once where I just couldn't get over that his cloack seemed to last forever. I think I speced him for about 15 minutes before giving up with a no-vote (splinter even checked it and agreed, weird but nothing that outrageous.) This issue gets made worse by the fact that picking up ammo/metal(?) will refill spy's cloak meter.

And yea, spec mode doesn't show spy cloak running out, nor snipers charge up so when specing both of these activities can look suspicious.

However, I'd back Mystique. She's overtly-analytical and worst case I'd trust her judgment, especially as it was a 1 week ban only.

I tried to post to this sooner but the page kept craping out on me..

Oysterhead, yes I'm sure. I specced him for a LONG time.. he stood on the sniper deck for more than a minute cloaked, and only un-cloaked to backstab someone and then immediately re-cloaked.  He stood around in areas that had no health packs or ammo, so the cloak time was very abnormal... as I said, I was technically inept in trying to record a demo of him so did not perm ban.

Also, I did record a demo last nite (pretty sure it worked ok based on console input) but now the demo is not in my C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\mystique\team fortress 2\tf\Demos folder.. *sigh*  maybe SOME day I'll get the hang of it.

and if this post comes up twice, the web page is doing the 'exception' thing again.. GRRRR!!!

Standing by a dispenser will allow you to stay invisible for ever.  I'm pretty sure it works with both teams' dispensers, but I haven't been able to try that with the opposing team.

Were they picking up ammo or standing near a dispenser of either side?  That can pretty much keep you cloaked for a long time, but I've also heard of spy hacks, so I guess there's no way to be sure. :P
