What a small and meaningless issue to start a thread over. You know what annoys me? pointless garbage threads with people complaining about smalls things. Grow the #$%#up and handle it.
You know how many people in this world don't even have access to the basics (food, clothing and shelter)? Would they complain about something so meager if they had the chance to play a game like TF2? FFS they find more enjoyment out of a soccer ball made out of dry cow dung than some of you guys find in this game. Get some perspective man. Enjoy the game, laugh it off and keep playing. Its hilarious.
This is not serious business.

Alright, serious time.
If this occurred on my server, here's what I say: keep the joke votes to a minimum. If it's to the point where it's interrupting game play, then it's too much. Once or twice in the course of a marathon run like we all tend to have, though, is hardly disrupting the game.
No slapping, burning, blinding, kicking, etc, etc, any player unless it's some goon causing trouble in the server. Those commands are meant for disciplining someone causing issues within the server, not to annoy the hell out of one another.
Basically: play nice. I love you guys to death and that’s why I offered up the server for pDs use. Please treat it like any other pDs server.
If this is occuring outside of Tempest 6, ya'll will need to discuss it with the other admins...

I'm not {pDs}, but I am an admin, and I think there needs to be some kind of limit. Joke votes should be kept to no more than 1 per round. I personally don't think we need to be having them AT ALL, but when the server's quiet you gotta have some fun. However, the only people capable of putting them up are Server Admins, so they should be responsible enough to not abuse it. Of course, if you and a few admin buddies are the only people on a server, do whatever you like, but don't think just because there's only 6-8 people per side that it's open season to flood people with votes. Keep in mind, when you put up a joke vote, EVERY player on the server gets his/her number keys hijacked until they enter in a vote or it times out. For some people, that can be more than just distracting, it can get them killed out there.  (Oh, and "Pie" should be a mandatory option on ANY player-created vote.) now that one of the supers has thrown the shit down, can you guys PLEASE take off the buffer between votes?
it's useful to for deciding map changes. usually, i'll ask if people want a new map, then i'll throw up a mapvote. right now, the buffer is something disgusting. 25 minutes or some shit.
