Just came out of Tempest 1 after spectating one of the weirdest hacks I've ever seen. Aside from the obvious aimbot, this guy was also able to see a disguised enemy Spy. This hacker was on the BLU team and when a disguised RED Spy approached he could see it was a RED Spy wearing a disguise mask. It's difficult to explain, but the demo speaks for itself.

I would tend to agree with the aimbot, but not the spy. Spy outline is visable if he hits enemies while cloaked and he was clearly visable. I still don't think there are any hacks that can detect cloaked spies.  ahhhh_crap wrote:no, splinter has ethics and whut has emotions

That's the thing though, he does see him while he's cloaked and follows him (which makes sense to me), but when the Spy removes the cloak you see a RED Spy with a mask on. Here is the demo I took of the other guy who was hacking, [COTB]austantacious. It's crazy watching this, I had never seen a sniper using speed hacks with aimbot before. Crazy how he slides in and out of cover while headshotting.

I'm pretty sure when you're in Spectator mode all Spies show up as enemies with masks. Win Cookies Awarded: 7 (bawwwwww)

yeas anytime you spectate the spies have the mask.

Even in spec, spies cloak all the way, view the demo of it in slow mo. About half way through slow it down and you can see the spy visible. I don't remember the last time demomen were able to cloak. Thats an easy tell when spies cloak runs out. when viewing demo go in console and type demoui2 to bring up speed controls. ahhhh_crap wrote:no, splinter has ethics and whut has emotions

Oooh I wasn't aware that you can see everyone in Spectator mode. I assumed if you were in the first-person view of a player that you would see exactly what he sees.
